Thank you for your interest in supporting Keweenaw Pridefest 2024! 

We are incredibly thankful for the amount of support we received last year. More than 250+ individuals attended! In 2023, we were able to host live bands, 17 non-commercial community organizations tabling, and a photobooth. A bit more than our original 50-person headcount!

Keweenaw Pridefest has grown rapidly, and we want to aim higher. The Keweenaw Queers have now incorporated as an educational non-profit.

Our final budget is $5,000, which covers A/V music coordination, compensation for 4 local bands, a photographer, refreshments, community outreach opportunities for local business and organizations, tables, and other equipment.

If you are a business interested in directly sponsoring the event please reach out to keweenawqueers@gmail.com for our informational packet! Sponsorship comes with several benefits such as social media appreciation posts, being featured on our banner and of course supporting the cause.

Keweenaw Pridefest is hosted by The Keweenaw Queers, a domestic non-profit. We are formed with the sole purpose of not for profit educational LGBTQIA+ events, materials and support. We have not (yet) been approved for 501c3 tax exempt status.

Other Ways to Support

For an event like this, support comes in many ways! We need volunteers to attend regular planning meetings, we have many day of volunteer opportunities that can be found here: keweenawpridefest.org/volunteer/

Sharing about the event on social media is a great help! Facebook and Instagram as well as RSVPing on social media once the event is available.

Finally, simply attending the Keweenaw Pridefest and events leading up to it! The event is free and open to the public, we hope to see you there!
